Meryk Phillips

My name is Meryk Phillips. I am a 19 year old purple belt from Victoria, British Columbia, now living in Calgary, Alberta. I train out of Mainquest in Calgary and Westcoast Jiu-Jitsu in Victoria. Some of my accomplishments in grappling include a bronze medal at the No Gi World Championships at Juvenile 2 blue belt and second place at the BC Wrestling Provincials in my grade 12 year of high school. I have also collected 3 ADCC Open golds and 1 bronze across 4 advanced divisions. I am looking forward to winning a major in the near future.

Kendra Mclaughlin

I train and coach out of PTT Kelowna. I started training when I was 6 years old with my brother at Genesis in Abbotsford. I’ve competed all over the world including Ireland and Japan alongside my entire family! I’m 2-0 for Proving Grounds Grappling super fights. 2x ADCC open silver medalist in the -55kg advancedPodiumed in multiple Ibjjf open tournaments. Winning most of my fights by Ankle locks and heel hooks or calf slicers!
